Privacy policy

This website was designed for people in a sensitive situation, so it collects as little as possible: no analytics trackers, no advertising cookies, and no server-side storage of anything you type into its tools.

Answers you give in the Start Here assessment, values you enter in the calculators, and items you check on the document checklist exist only in your browser while the page is open. They are not transmitted to a server, saved to your device, sent to an analytics service, or shared with any third party. Leaving the page or choosing “Clear” erases them.

The consultation and referral forms do not send data to this website’s servers. Submitting a form opens your own email application with a pre-filled message addressed to renniebarton@city2shore.com — nothing leaves your device until you press send in your email app. The email you then send is handled like any other business email: read by Rennie Barton and used to respond to your request. It is not sold, shared for marketing, or added to advertising audiences.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank-account information, tax returns, court credentials, medical information, children’s information, or sensitive documents through email or web forms.

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It uses one piece of session storage (dyh-intro-seen) to avoid replaying the opening animation within the same browsing session; it identifies nothing about you and disappears when the session ends.

Our hosting provider (Google Cloud Run) keeps standard, short-lived request logs — IP address, requested page, timestamp — used only for security and operations.

Emails you send are retained as ordinary business correspondence. You may ask us to delete correspondence at any time by contacting renniebarton@city2shore.com, and we will honor the request unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
